Avatar issue?

Hi there -

Haven't been back on the Palace in a looong time, so forgive my noobness. I am using a Mac OSX version 10.5.5 & I am using PalaceChat for Mac OSX version 3.0.4.7. I just downloaded it today and have not entered a code, as I read on this forum that you don't need one to access all of the features.

My issue:
When I go into an avatar room (one of the ones where you click "next" & "back" nothing happens. No avatars show up on my lil smiley face guy, lol. I can pick up pieces and put them in my bag and double click and wear things just fine, but I can't seem to get them from rooms like that. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Another example...when I'm in Avatar Palace in the Palace Links section, none of the links will work for me when I click on them. I'm beginning to think this is definitely a Mac thing.

This is not an avatar issue but a scripting issue. Pawn made this client without support for the old Palace scripting language iptscrae, so any Palace script that uses this will not work with that client.

Yes this is a problem you can't do anything about until Pawn releases a new version. He said his new 4.0 version will support iptscrae and tabbed palace! So its going to be cool but i'm fraid for now you are stuck. You can however ask people to offer you avatars, if the server uses the "offer accept" plugin you will be able to get avatars from others.

Another option will be to use Parallels and install windows on this as a second system on your mac IF you use a intel mac. Then you can run the new and old windows clients. But that might be a bit much just to get scripting back.
