Some Rooms Not Loading (Instant Palace)

Hi all. I'm setting up a small Palace for the station I work for, and it's working great except for 2 small problems.

1. Some of the rooms refuse to load when a user comes in through the Instant Palace interface. They're fine when going in through the standalone client though.

2. Custom avatars/props aren't loading in the Instant Palace either.

Any suggestions? The palace is set up at http://studio.kjsr.net if you'd like to take a look.

Are you using Jpegs fro all room pictures and naming them picturename.jpeg in the room editor?

Have you added the USEOTHERAVATARSERVER to the pserver.prefs?

Example:

TPVENTRYPAGE "http://www.digital-exposure.com"
USEOTHERAVATARSERVER
TPVUISWITCHES "TTTTTFFTTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF"
ROOMSFILE "psdata/pserver.pat"

The java detecting script is not detecting my Firefox / Mac combo, maybe you make a link page with manual selection as well?

The USEOTHERAVATARSERVER is set. But all my jpegs are named .JPG instead of .jpeg, so I'll try that.

And I'll see if I can set up a manual choice for you. :)

Update: Renaming the backgrounds to .jpeg makes the rooms that were loading not load at all. :(

Ok roompic file names should be all lower case anyway and off course best thing is to copy / paste the room name from the file. If they don't load, try renaming the file / editroom pic info. Sometimes renaming does the trick. InstantPalace is very picky with filenames but it can be scaled and completely modified + gives great 24bit jpeg backgrounds.

Ok cool I can get in the Palace, now all you need to do is get the roompics to work :)

Yep. All the pics are being served from Index of /media

Right so you set the media server, and pictures load with a clean client right?

(Did you copy paste roompic file names to the room pic name thingy?)

Just tried to make entrance.jpeg a room picture in a 'newroom, picture did not load. I can load it in the browser, no problem but not instant Palace.

Might be a path problem in the Instant Palace page / script. You might want to check and see if the media folder path is correct.
