Props File-1 error

Help please...I cannot get into Palace at all. I keep getting the above error. I've tried everything.

Everything meaning what exactly?

As part of this everything did you try using the backup propfile from the files section?

OK....I'm gonna try this again. I am using a COMPAQ Armada 1700 (an old laptop) with Windows XP. I had been using Palace for quite awhile, and then something corrupted my prop file and now I can't get into Palace at all. I did not make a backup (as I am relatively new to this), but tried to download the default propbag. That didn't work either. I still get the same error message. Is there any way I can at least get into Palace?

Did you unpack the .zip file and put the default propbag in the same place as the original propbag?

You have to unzip the propfile first before you can use it.

Search for the Palace Palace.prp and replace it with the new download that should also be called Palace.prp (default location of the Palace.prp should be C:/program files/communities/the palace or something similar.) You can use the windows search to locate the Palace.prp file.

Important note: the main reason propfiles are corrrupted is size You can't just keep expanding your prop collection i'm afraid.
