Directory Listing error

I have updated my Directory Listing page with my new palace server address,
and saved my changes. However, when I search for my Palace,Whispering Palms, on the Live Directory Listing page, it still says "last reported in:2006-08-04" which is not true since I go there every day lol. And when I try to connect, it tries to connect to the OLD server address of
Connecting to 213.239.185.88:9998
Winsock Error: 10061 - Connection refused
Connection Refused
(even though I have the NEW one, which is 66.161.9.245:9998
on my editing page
What am I doing wrong please?

Have you logged in on Palacetools to edit this info?

The other thing to look for is: Did you change anything in the Palace Server prefs? Especially the Sysop field that holds the Live directory key is important. If you have used an old key, this might be the one linked to the old info.

Yes, maarten, I edited my information in Palacetools.
I put the new key number in the Palace Server prefs also.
What else could it be?

Right and when did you get the new key number?

A new Key number means a new directory entry, did you activate the directory entry? "list palace on directory" or something i think its called. Could be your old entry is showing up, not the new one?

Hi maarten, I finally figured out why it wasn't connecting. I had forgotten to put the new Palace key number on my Sharpsphere server website so it was still reading my old key number from there. Now my Palace lists twice on the directory, the old key one and the new key one. If I unlist from directory on old key one, the new key one doesn't show up either. How do I get just the correct palace link to show on the directory listing? Thanks for your help, I sure appreciate it and your promptness.

oops I'm afraid the smokescreen falls and .... it turns out i really don't know anything lol. Not sure what to answer to that one, perhaps turning off the old one, turn of the new one and turn it on again might reset it somehow?

I'm afraid I can only help on stuff I remember from palacing all those years ago.. hope this helps you in some way.

Hi maarten,
I solved the problem! I looked through my huge binder of notes and found my old key number and password. Logged in with that and unlisted the old palace listing. So now my palace shows up on directory listing only once. Thanks for all your help!
