Backgrounds

Hi I was wondering if there was anyway, if some of the background's people provide in there rooms, can actually be used and saved?You click backgrounds in their palace and by clicking on one of the backgrounds it just then gives you the file name of the background...but I want to be able to save it and use the background..Or is there a site I can get the room backgrounds from??

All Palace backgrounds you see in your client are already on your harddisc. you can find them by opening the MEDIA folder of your Palace client, there you will see a folder for each Palace that in turn have a picture and sound folder in them.

The default path in Windows for your Palace client media folder is:
c:/Program Files/Palace folder name/media/

Or use the search option on your computer and locate Clouds.gif this is one of the default pictures that come with Palace.

I meant the backgrounds of apartment rooms..when under some of those folders it only has the backgrounds of people's menu's...

I attached a picture of it.How it has those bedrooms there well I want to be able to use one of those bedrooms....

If you have visited those rooms with the full picture you will automatically download those full sized pictures. It is very simple: ALL media you can see or hear on Palace has been downloaded to your disc.

The Palace client can only show things that it has already downloaded so if you can see it, it is on your harddisc.



Moral note: Most Palace builders consider it rude if you use their pictures in a Public Palace. Especially when they have been edited by them. Many wars have been thought over this so perhaps you want to think about this before using pictures.

I go on a similar chat like The Palace and wanted to use some of their backgrounds as rooms on this similar chat I go on.I find the palace to confusing lol
