need some help with avatars..

okay, before i got my new computer i had windows 98, and i could make avatars and load the palace pallette and it'd work fine without the colors getting messed up. i got my new computer, redownloaded palace and everything, but now when i use palace pallette to make avs the colors get distorted for most of them, but a few work just fine. i'm using the really OLD OLD OLD version of PSP (version 3), which is the same one i used before.

so can anybody help me fix it or tell me what's going on or what? thanks a lot! :D

Hi well there is a simple way of solving this but it does mean downloading something: Galen makes nice compatible props

Very simple program, just open a pic and make avatar. Then import it and your ready. Sorry for not really answering your question but its the only slution I can come up with right now.
