Palace Planet has changed... again.

What has changed? The front is now a full-on news system for anyone who wants to write news, help update Palace info. This forum has not changed, it is still the same with some older more article like content moved into the news system.

So what does it mean for the users? When all is set up the way it should be registered users can login and start writing their own news for the frontpage. Promote a Palace, advertise an event, write reviews. Or help sort out the info we have put up in the manuals section, found any stuff that's not correct? Post it here in this thread!

Or volunteer as an editor and change it yourself!

Want to write a piece about your personal experiences with Palace? Become a writer and get your own column or just send in a one off. Many hve done so in the past and its a lot of fun reading Palace history.

Good luck finding what you need, if anythig is broken please let me know!

I've indeed found many broken links around the site since the make-over. I'll try to catch them all later and get back to you.

Well, there are broken links all around the forums. Not to say that the forum threads are not sorted right, because this thread I posted ( Help with IPTSTATS ) is no where to be found, yet I posted it recently.

Sometimes I click on a link to a forum topic and it tells me that the thread could not be found.

Hi,

Some older threads can be broken because they try to link to the older setup when the forum was not based in the www.palaceplanet.net/forum/ folder. I did add a script that should fix the problem but that might not always work 100%.

The link you give works without a problem for me? If you get any error messages, please post them so I can see what is going on. thanks!

It seems I can view the post again. However, now I've noticed what the problem with the order of topics in some board is. At least in that particular board (I haven't checked the rest), the topics are ordered alphabetically. :0

Alphabetically? Forum view can be set by the user, maybe you set this yourself? I can't find any alphabetical forums :) but I can't even read so... might miss something.

Oh by the way, forgot about this but PAlace planet meta info, tags and description is generated from the posts. I think you can add keywords by adding the correct tags to posts. All very fancy
