Help, please.
I've been using The Palace for, god, YEARS. I recently got a new computer, so of course I already have The Palace (both new and old versions), however this computer has Vista. I've had servers in the past with ME and XP, but is there a site I can download a server compatiable with Vista yet? Please, let me know!

Have you tried installing the windows server?
There is no alternative, official Palace development stopped in 2000 when the company went bust.

Yeah, and it doesn't work. It unpacks everything, then it does nothing. The worst part about it is I can't install it, and I can't uninstall it!

That is weird, you don't have a copy of a backup somewhere? Palace software doesn't really need to be un installed. You should be able to copy the Palace server directory and try it then.

I tried, but to no avail. I even tried the "NT" version. Nothing. Nothing works. It sucks, really.

Oh that .. well sucks, I'm afraid I will be skipping Vista so can't really help you with this from practical experience.
ooops... asked the same question again lol...
so you tried starting a unpacked, previously working, server already?

No, I can't seem to find one that's unpacked. Could I just have someone unpack it for me and then send me the file? Will that work?

Yeah, it didn't. Now it's saying I have no rooms to download, and I tried downloading the .dat and the .pat files over, and still nada.
