AFTER LOAD OF GATE ROOM NO SUBSEQUENT ROOMS LOAD
working with a lady friend to get her palace running again. have tried multiple add-removes an reinstalls with diff version of Palace Client. experiencing the same phenominon every time. convinced it is a registry entry we haven't scrubbed.
i have see the problem before, and know exactly what is happening. u move to a new room, and msg states cannot load room. and so u see back thru to the first room while in the new room, balloons duplicate with every entry on top of one another, and every move of an av causes a replication of it. from her side she cannot even see her or others avs, although i can see both fine.
this happens to her in all palaces she visits, even virgin ones for the first time. she is running a Windows ME OS, with over 2 gigs of HD space left.
one time when i accidentally pointed a room pic to a small label gif i encountered the identical problem. she is running a virgin, original borg now, and a virgin, original prop bag. i have clearly isolated the problem, but do not have a clue for its solution.
help anyone, please.
