: Simply put, Palace chat, Palace32, and every other palace client I have can connect, but Phalanx cannot. I'm tired of all my other clients taking up 100% CPU for a program that doesn't require it, so I'd like to have Palace chat and Phalanx running both at once, but obviously Phalanx won't connect. I use windows XP, and when I install it it goes fine. When I double click the Phalanx icon, it says my prop bag hasn't been purged in 38670ish days, and the props are corrupt. Anyway, I looked through the forums here and none of the solutions worked for the prop problem as I don't use Vista.. Next, when I connect it says "Connecting.." And on the bottom it'll say "Connected". Also, I can see myself logged on the palace via looking through palace chat, but Phalanx's screen is still the default starting screen, and I can't move or do anything else for obvious reasons. Letting Phalanx sit idly eventually results in disconnecting since I disappear on the Palace chat side. I've reinstalled, cleaned registries, and everything else I could think of to correct it. Does anyone have a solution or idea what it is?

Besides the fact that the Palace32 client doesn't really use 100% CPU, otherwise you wouldn't be able to do anything else. I know nothing of Phalanx, perhaps your client gets blocked because its not an official client? There is a plugin that can do this, try other servers?

:Well, considering my CPU is working at 100% and the heat rises incredibly more when running, I'd say it does. The only time it doesn't run at 100% is when another program needs CPU, it'll run at a lower percentage but over all will always add up to 100% (If I'm running Photoshop and it takes 20%, Palace will take up the other 80%, etc;.) And I've tried every palace I know, even the official Phalanx Palace and no luck, so I guess I'll continue to wait around and see if anyone has some input.

you must have an old pc then, none of these problems exist on newer pcs with dual core hardware.
