Windows Errors
I was curious to know if there are any patches for palace for people using any OS other than 98.

I run Windows 2000 Pro and it seems like every time I go to edit i get the error message saying that Palace.exe has generated errors and will be shut down.

That gets kind of old after awhile. Especially right in the middle of editing.

I've heard that this problem occurs because palace was made for the 98 OS and that it errors alot on other Windows platforms as well.

Any kind of information would be greatly appreciated.

(If there aren't any patches or upgrades that can fix this. Someone should get to working on them . =))

Hey

Well a new Palace client is in the making called Palace Chat, no scripting support as yet but some nice avatar support.

The windows version is in the Beta downloads.

Sad part is they once again want you to pay for all the features. Oh well.

Please don't ask me for help in private, use the USER QUESTIONS forum if you need help.

for the edit crash. palace 3.5 and 3.6 for windows will crash when sliding prop pieces randomly. if you plan on flipping an avatar be sure to close the client and reopen it to save to your prp bag before sliding any pieces due to expecting prop slide crash.

for the one that mentioned their client randomly muting and sending op commands. if your connection is wireless or has problems from time to time bad packet spikes will cause random commands to get sent to the server from the client.
