This is some old info but should work:
If you change the Ownerpassword line in your Pserver prefs to this:
OWNERPASSWORD "A\99S"
The ownerpass should now be: god
You can do another check: try operator password: operator, if this works, just copy the ascii from the operatorpass line to your ownerpass line in the pserver.prefs.
Offcourse the server needs to be shutdown before you edit anything for this to work. Settings are read from memory once then server is running so any changes you make to the preference file when the server is up won't be read. In fact if you shut down, it will overwrite whatever you put in with whatever it loaded into memory. This goes for props, room/ PAT file and settings. (You might already know this but in case anyone else is reading :P )
