With great sadness I must write to tell you all that the founder of the 24hours event and a longtime friend W. Kent Starr has passed away. Tuesday April 29th in Jacksonville Florida. Kent (Wizz)left this world after a long hospitilization and illness. At his side was companion Mary E Dixon (Dr Crusher/Goddess Of Galaxy Station). Dr C Wrote:

Tonight (Tuesday morning) at about 1:30 AM, my best friend and companion for the last five years or so, Kent Starr, also known to this community as Wizzard, was lifted up by heavenly angels and taken to a better place. He will struggle with sickness no more. He is at rest. Preparations will be underway tomorrow for cremation and a burial at sea so he can continue to sail on. There are so many oceans to sail. He was a fighter and a very strong man to the end. He was loved and will be remembered by so many all over the world. With love, Dr. Crusher

Kent may be remembered for the Babylon 5 Experience Palaces and for helping to advance palace scripting, but more than that Kents larger than life intelect and sensitivity to human nature & diversity online led him to create the 24hours on the Palace event. This was one of, the first non commercial, community oriented global avatar chat events. With his guidance hundreds of diverse online friendships were formed worldwide. He will be greatly missed, The impact & positive influence he had on the lives of the members of the world wide palace communitys is his continuing legacy. Kents Email signature was two words "Warm Regards" and that truly sums up the feeling of having the opportunity to know Kent and work with him over the years. Warm regards indeed!
